howdy! my name’s sarah-jane (you may know me by my online moniker - mintyapricot), I’m 34 years old and i’m originally from perth, western australia! I moved to the USA in 2010, and i’ve been living happily with my husband and my 2 cats in cincinnati, ohio ever since. i have been making art since as long as i can remember! (I still have the real “art” i ever drew at age 8), my real passions in my life are: my husband, my cats, art and music. I have a strong relationship with colour, and I’m very drawn to fresh, bright natural aesthetics.

within my art, i am mostly inspired by the natural world. i love to draw anything inspired by nature. landscapes, animals, flowers, bugs… i am also very inspired by ceramics and pottery. i am in awe of the artistry that is ceramics and would love to try it some day. i am an amateur zine maker, looking at other people’s handmade work is so inspiring to me. i am also very inspired by rug tufting! the colours and shapes are so intriguing to me. i hope to develop my art more into my own particular style and especially experiment with colour!
